When commenting on a work or discussing in Gossip, constructive criticism is essential. You may critique a chapter, character, or style you dislike — but do so in concrete, helpful language without attacking the author's dignity. Feedback like "The pacing slowed in this chapter; an earlier hook might draw readers in sooner" fits our community spirit.
Personal attacks, mockery, humiliation, or targeted comments about an author's identity are not accepted. Critique ideas, not people.
2. A safe and inclusive space
Luminar does not tolerate discrimination, hate speech, or exclusionary behavior based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any identity characteristic. Creating a safe environment where everyone can write and read their story is everyone's responsibility.

For these violations, we may apply permanent restrictions without a prior warning. Our decisions are made to protect platform safety.
